Lemony can run within Parallels<span class="copyright">®</span> and VMware Fusion<span class="copyright">®</span>.<br /> If you are using any other kind of emulator, make sure it supports USB ports, since you will need to connect the dongle.</p> <p class="faq_question"> <img src="../design/faq.png" alt="" />Can I use my DVD material to create a Blu-ray Disc?</p> <p class="faq_answer"> Yes, Lemony can import your old DVD scripts and subpictures, and output to any format of your choice, including Blu-ray.<br /> Texts and times can be taken from the script. DVD subpictures can be converted to text by using the OCR tool.</p> <p class="faq_question"> <img src="../design/faq.png" alt="" />How can I see and change my activation code?</p> <p class="faq_answer"> The activation code is available in the <i>About</i> window, <i>System information</i> tab.<br /> To change the activation, select menu <i>Help&gt;Activate</i> in the <i>Subtitler</i>.</p> <p class="faq_question"> <img src="../design/faq.png" alt="" />Does Lemony create subtitles only for DVD and Blu-ray?</p> <p class="faq_answer"> No. You can also create subtitles for:<br /> " Web video (Flash<span class="copyright">®</span> cue points, Media player SAMI, QuickTime<span class="copyright">®</span> text track)<br /> " Closed captions (SCC)<br /> " Non-linear editors (AVI with transparency, CMX EDLs).</p> <p class="faq_question"> <img src="../design/faq.png" alt="" />Can Lemony create subtitles for NLEs?</p> <p class="faq_answer"> Yes. Subtitles can be exported as a single AVI file. The AVI is 32-bit uncompressed with transparent background.<br /> It is compatible with NLEs, such as, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Premiere Elements, Avid systems, Final Cut Pro, and others. No codecs are required to work with this kind of AVI.</p> <p class="faq_question"> <img src="../design/faq.png" alt="" />Can Lemony work with closed captions?</p> <p class="faq_answer"> Yes. Lemony allows to work with captions in several ways:<br /> " Work directly with the hexa values.<br /> " Work with disassembly code.<br /> " Convert the captions to regular text.<br /> " Export captions as script (SCC) or Line-21 AVI.</p> <p class="faq_question"> <img src="../design/faq.png" alt="" />Can Lemony auto detect scene changes in the movie?</p> <p class="faq_answer"> No. Not yet.</p> <p class="faq_question"> <img src="../design/faq.png" alt="" />Does Lemony support japanese subtitles, right-to-left and other special language features?</p> <p class="faq_answer"> Yes.<br /> " Lemony Pro was natively designed to support Unicode, including ligatures, surrogates, floating characters, etc.<br /> " Double-byte (DBCS) text files are supported. Any installed Encoding can be used to import and export files.<br /> " Subtitles can have mixed fonts and sizes, to support languages that require special fonts, such as Hindi.<br /> " Left-to-right is supported, including bi-di scripting.<br /> " For Japanese, it supports vertical subtitles, and text lines with mixed horizontal and vertical text. It also has native support for furigana/rubi and asynchronous subtiting.</p> <p class="faq_question"> <img src="../design/faq.png" alt="" />How many languages can Lemony handle?</p> <p class="faq_answer"> A Lemony project can contain several tracks, which can be used to store several languages.<br /> Since Lemony supports Unicode, languages can be mixed in the same text.</p> <p class="faq_question"> <img src="../design/faq.png" alt="" />Can I customize my shortcuts?</p> <p class="faq_answer"> Yes. You can change the default shortcuts and create new ones. Lemony Pro supports QuickTime 7 since version 4.0.4.
